Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a queue control method and apparatus, which aim to flexibly adjust a queue threshold of a queue, reduce the probability of a message being discarded, and improve the reliability of message forwarding. The queue control method comprises: a first device acquiring a packet loss parameter of a first queue, wherein the packet loss parameter of the first queue is determined according to a message which is discarded because same cannot join in the first queue; the first device determining whether the packet loss parameter of the first queue is greater than a first packet loss threshold; and when the packet loss parameter of the first queue is greater than the first packet loss threshold, the first device increasing a first cache parameter, wherein the first cache parameter is used for adjusting a queue threshold of the first queue, and the queue threshold of the first queue represents the maximum total number of bytes of a message which is allowed to be cached by the first queue.
