Disclosed is a quick braking method for a dam accident door. A generator is connected to a winch shaft of a winch of an accident door, an adjustable resistor is arranged on an excitation circuit of the generator, and a heat dissipation resistor is connected in a power generation circuit of the generator. The method mainly uses reverse torque generated by the generator to implement the braking of the accident door. At the same time, the magnitude of current in the excitation circuit is adjusted by means of adjusting an adjustable resistance value of the excitation circuit of the generator, so as to adjust the magnitude of the braking torque. In the present invention, when the accident door is lowered, same is cleverly used to drive a rotating shaft to rotate so as to make the generator generate power, and at the same time, the reverse torque generated by the generator is used to quickly brake the accident door, which prevents brake wear caused by traditional friction braking devices, and improves the convenience of quick braking of the accident door.
