Abstract:
This quick connector is provided with a guide protrusion. In a state in which a retainer is positioned in an initial position and a pipe is inserted at a normal position of the connector main body, when a pushing load is applied to the retainer, the retaining legs are guided onto the outer peripheral surface of an annular protruding portion. Thereby, the pair of retaining legs undergoes an expanding deformation and at the same time, through the expanding deformation of the pair of retaining legs, the guide protrusion releases the restriction on movement of the retainer from the initial position to a confirmed position.
