Provided is a quick fastener retention device which prevents connected pipes from separating due to the dislodgement of a quick fastener and which is configured so that evidence of forced removal of the quick fastener remains as plastic deformation on a retention member. A quick fastener 1 is mounted while flanges 13, 14 formed at ends of first and second pipes 11, 12 are joined, and a portion of each of the joined flanges is inserted in a corresponding long window 4 formed in the quick fastener 1. A retention member 6 for the quick fastener 1 is bent in a square C-shape, the center section 6a of the bend is located between the insertion guide sections 2b, 3b of the quick fastener 1, and a pair of bent leg sections 6d, 6e continuous with the center section of the bend are respectively engaged with the insides of the left and right protrusions 2a, 3a of the quick fastener 1 through the long windows 4 formed in the quick fastener 1.
