Abstract:
Ink compositions that are medium-selective and that, depending on the printing ink or coating material system, have high initial viscosity and viscosity over time cannot be said to be effective as NC flexographic inks in particular. Provided are: a quinacridone pigment composition having exceptional fluidity (initial viscosity and viscosity over time) that is suitable for printing inks or coating materials, etc.; and an ink composition having said composition. The present invention was perfected upon the discovery that a specific quinacridone pigment derivative can be used as the quinacridone pigment to obtain a pigment that has better fluidity (initial viscosity and viscosity over time) than in the prior art.
