Abstract:
1-Cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-8-methoxy-5-methyl-7-(3,5-dimethyl-1-piperazinyl)-1,4-dihydro-4-oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid and salts thereof, a process for their preparation, and a medicinal composition containing same are disclosed. The compound of the present invention and salts thereof have excellent properties as quinolone antibacterial agents and are useful for prophylaxis and treatment of infectious diseases of warm-blooded animals induced by bacteria.
