Abstract:
An organic compound which is bipolar and luminescent and further has heat resistance. It is a quinoxaline derivative represented by the general formula (1). In the formula, A represents any one of alkylene chains, silicon (Si), oxygen (O), nitrogen (N), and sulfur (S); R1 to R8 may be the same or different and each represents any of lower alkyl, aryl, and heterocyclic residues; and R9 to R24 may be the same or different and each represents any of hydrogen, halogeno, lower alkyl, alkoxy, acyl, nitro, cyano, amino, dialkylamino, diarylamino, vinyl, optionally substituted aryl, and heterocyclic residues.
