Abstract:
An R-T-B-based sintered magnet characterized by containing 27.5 to 34.0% by mass of R, 2 to 10% by mass of RH, 0.89 to 0.95% by mass of B, 0.1 to 0.2% by mass of Ti, 0.3 to 0.7% by mass of Ga, 0.07 to 0.50% by mass of Cu, 0.05 to 0.50% by mass of Al, 0 to 0.3% by mass of M (wherein M represents Nb and/or Zr) and a remainder made up by T and unavoidable impurities, and satisfying the following formulae (1), (2) and (3): (1) [T]-72.3([B]-0.45[Ti]) > 0; (2) ([T]-72.3([B]-0.45[Ti]))/55.85 < 13[Ga]/69.72; and (3) [Ga] ≥ [Cu].
