Abstract:
This raceway ring is made from steel. The raceway ring is provided with: an inner circumferential surface; and an outer circumferential surface opposite to the inner circumferential surface in a radial direction of the raceway ring. The steel is made from high-carbon chromium bearing steel SUJ2 as stipulated by JIS standard. One of the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface has a raceway surface. The other of the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface is an opposite raceway surface. The minimum value of a distance between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface in the radial direction is less than 5 mm. The amount of retained austenite in the raceway surface is not less than 10 vol%. The hardness of steel in the raceway surface is not less than 600 Hv. The absolute value of a dimensional change rate of the raceway ring in the radial direction after being retained at 120°C for 2000 hours is not more than 30×10-5.
