Abstract:
A racket weight (5D) removably mounted on or adjacent a joint (4) between a grip (2) and a racket surface (3) of a racket (1) and allowing the user to train for muscle building while actually striking balls or doing practice swings. This weight (5D) is made of elastic resin material or shock absorbing material and shaped in the form of a thick flat elastic ring, and is formed in the inner wall thereof with a concavoconvex portion (A) fit to the outer shape of the mount region of the racket (1). Further, filling members or weight members (8) made of a material of high specific gravity is built−in or embedded or half−embedded in symmetric positions with respect to the transverse or longitudinal centerline of the thick portion. And, equal weights are added to front and back and&sol or right and left sides of the racket (1) or racket surface (3) in the mount region.
