Abstract:
A radar device that uses active radar homing in which radar waves from the device itself are used, said radar device being provided with an antenna device 4 for irradiating radar waves toward a target, a receiver 8 for receiving reflected waves from the target through the antenna device 4, and a signal processor 9 that is capable of carrying out coherent integration processing on reception signals from the receiver 8 while observing a clutter level using the signal resulting from the coherent integration processing and controlling a transmission duty ratio such that the observed clutter level and the receiver noise level become the same or so that the observed clutter level approaches the receiver noise level.
