Abstract:
This radar device comprises: a plurality of subarray antennas (1-1)–(1-N) having a plurality of element antennas; a plurality of sum signal generation units (3-1)–(3-N) that are respectively connected to the plurality of subarray antennas (1-1)–(1-N) and generate sum signals for the plurality of element antennas of each of the subarray antennas (1-1)–(1-N); a plurality of difference signal generation units (4-1)–(4-N) that are respectively connected to the plurality of subarray antennas (1-1)–(1-N) and generate difference signals for the plurality of element antennas of each of the subarray antennas (1-1)–(1-N); and an angle measurement unit (14) for carrying out beam-former angle measurement for a target using the sum signals generated by the plurality of sum signal generation units (3-1)–(3-N) and the difference signals generated by the plurality of difference signal generation units (4-1)–(4-N).
