Abstract:
A radar device (11) comprises a radar unit (12), a signal processing unit (20), a GPS receiver (21), and a storage unit (22). The signal processing unit (20) acquires, for each target, the distance (R) to the target and the relative velocity (Veff) of the radar unit (12) and the target when the radar unit (12) is moving. The signal processing unit (20) separately detects the positions of a plurality of targets through use of a separation algorithm that utilizes a difference in relative velocity (Veff). When the radar unit (12) is stopped, the signal processing unit (20) corrects the positions of targets detected when the radar unit (12) is moving and specifies the position of the plurality of targets, on the basis of the current position of the radar unit (12) stored in the storage unit (22).
