Abstract:

This radar device is provided with: an opening surface that includes an element antenna and a phase shifter; an antenna phase control unit that sets the phase of the phase shifter and calculates a phase amount on the basis of the directional orientation of a beam and the rotation angle of the opening surface; a rotation mechanism that rotates the opening surface; an antenna drive control unit that sets the rotation angle of the rotation mechanism; a resolver that detects the rotation angle of the opening surface; an exciter that generates a transmission signal; a radar receiver that processes a received signal; a signal processing unit that detects a target from the radar receiver, sets the rotation angle of the opening surface and the directional orientation of the beam in the antenna drive control unit and the antenna phase control unit, and calculates the competing clutter level using an antenna pattern to determine the validity of the rotation angle; and a pattern calculation unit that calculates the antenna pattern from the rotation angle of the opening surface and the directional orientation of the beam.
