Abstract:
The present invention attains a radar device capable of determining whether a plurality of approaching objects are detected as obstacle objects or a single object is detected as an obstacle. A mixer (5) generates a beat signal from a transmission signal and a reception signal, a frequency analysis unit (6) calculates a first frequency spectrum from the beat signal, an obstacle detection unit (7) detects an obstacle from the first frequency spectrum, and an object superimposing determination unit (8) compares a plurality of second frequency spectrums which are pre-stored with the first frequency spectrum and determines that the obstacle is a single object when a similar second frequency spectrum exists and determines that the obstacle is a plurality of objects when no similar second frequency spectrum exists.
