Abstract:
A radar device (1) includes: RF receivers (8-1 to 8-Q) that receive a plurality of pulse-modulated waves reflected by a target and that individually output a plurality of reception signals; signal processing circuits (9-1 to 9-Q) that each generate a plurality of pulse compressed signals through correlation processing using a plurality of reference signals and that each combine the pulse compressed signals together to generate a band-combined signal; and a target-candidate detecting unit (13) that detects target candidates on the basis of the band-combined signals. Under the condition that the relative speed of the target is within a presumed speed range, each of the signal processing circuits (9-1 to 9-Q), for each of the pulse compressed signals, calculates a plurality of integrated evaluation values representing evaluations of the signal quality of the band-combined signal by using a prepared-in-advance set of candidate values of the phase compensation amount, and selects a phase compensation amount corresponding to the pulse compressed signal from among the set of candidate values on the basis of these integrated evaluation values. Each of the signal processing circuits (9-1 to 9-Q) is able to adjust the phase of the pulse compressed signal by using the phase compensation amount.
