Abstract:
A radar device (20) mounted in a vehicle (50) comprises an observation unit (25), an estimation unit (29), a prediction unit (30), a matching process unit (27), and a decision unit (32). Using a speed observation value calculated by the observation unit (25), the estimation unit (29) calculates, for an initial detection object, a plurality of speed estimation values in which a turn-back is assumed. The prediction unit (30) calculates a speed prediction value from each of the plurality of speed estimation values. The matching process unit (27) associates the speed prediction value and the speed observation value.
