Abstract:
A radar satellite according to the present invention is provided with: a radar unit (20) comprising a plurality of radar panels (21) linked in a single plate-like configuration, the radar panels being equipped with a plurality of antennas for radar wave transmission and reception and a solar battery (241); and a communication/control unit (50) that performs communication with the ground or a space unit. The radar unit (20) is provided with a radar panel array (201) that is a planar structural member configured of a plurality of radar panels (21), and a deployable truss structural object (202) configured of a plurality of side frame members (204) linked in a foldable and deployable manner, the side frame members supporting the radar panels (21).
