A radial air dynamic pressure bearing having an adjustable insertion groove (4), comprising a bearing seat (1), an inner foil sheet (2), and an elastic wave foil (3). An insertion groove (4) is axially formed in the bearing seat (1); a movable adjusting pressing plate (5) is provided in the insertion groove (4); an adjusting member (6) is radially mounted at the position, corresponding to the insertion groove (4), in the bearing seat (1); the adjusting member (6) penetrates into the insertion groove (4) to drive the adjusting pressing plate (5) to move; one end of the inner foil sheet (2) and one end of the elastic wave foil (3) both are provided with fixed pieces (7), and the other end of the inner foil sheet and the other end of the elastic wave foil are free ends; the fixed pieces (7) are inserted into the insertion groove (4); and the adjusting member (6) drives the adjusting pressing plate (5) to move in the insertion groove (4) so as to fix the fixed pieces (7). The width of the insertion groove (4) corresponding to the fixed pieces (7) can be arbitrarily adjusted by moving the adjusting pressing plate (5), thereby reasonably fixing the fixed pieces (7) of the inner foil sheet (2) and the elastic wave foil (3).
