Abstract:
This radial foil bearing (3) is provided with a bearing housing (12) including an insertion hole (12a) into which a shaft is inserted, a back foil (11) disposed on an inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole, and an engaging member (30) including a first part (32) which is disposed overlapping the back foil in the radial direction of the insertion hole and which engages with the back foil, and a second part (31) which attaches to the bearing housing, wherein the first part is provided with engaging grooves (34) extending to an edge in the axial direction of the insertion hole, and the back foil is disposed in the engaging grooves.
