Abstract:
A shoe ring is prevented from falling out without coming into sliding contact
with its adjacent component. In a radial pump/motor arranged where slide contact
portions (27b) of piston shoes (27) are held to be in contact with the inner peripheral
surface (31a) of a cam ring (30) by elastic force of the shoe ring (40), shoe rings
(40) are individually arranged on both sides of a reference plane (M) that perpendicularly
intersects with the axis of rotation (CR) of a cylinder block (20) and where the
axes of cylinders (23) are located. A ring restriction portion (28) is formed
on a piston shoe (27) such that the distance from the axis of rotation (CR) is less
at an outer position (P2) away from the reference plane (M) than at an inner position
(PI) close to the reference plane (M).
