Abstract:
The disclosed radiant heating device for a vehicle is provided with a radiant heater, which emits radiant heat towards people in the vehicle, along with a fan-type air-conditioning system, which selectively takes in interior air or exterior air and supplies an air-conditioning air stream generated from said air into the passenger compartment. The radiant heater has a control unit which changes the amount of energy radiated by the radiant heater depending on whether the aforementioned air-conditioning system is taking in interior air or exterior air. This radiant heating device can provide people in a vehicle with a pleasant feeling of warmth in both the external-air and internal-air modes of the air-conditioning device.
