Abstract:
An X-ray detector (22) is provided with multiple modules (M) having multiple detection elements (S) that form pixels, said modules converting incident radiation into data representing the quantity of electricity of each pixel, which corresponds to the amount of radiation. The multiple modules are arranged adjacent to each other, on the same plane with an interval of a known width therebetween, along a first X-axis (X1) and/or a first Y-axis (Y1) when the scan direction has been set in the direction of either the first X-axis or the first Y-axis, which is orthogonal to the first X-axis. The multiple detection elements of each module are set at an angle to the first X-axis and the first Y-axis, and are arranged in a two-dimensional manner along a second X-axis (X2) and a second Y-axis (Y2), which are orthogonal to each other.
