Abstract:
A configuration of the present invention removes a noise component of an amplifier output using a limiter circuit L instead of a bypass filter and a low-pass filter. If an amplified signal outputted by an amplifier a is less than or equal to a limit level, the limiter circuit L does not allow said amplified signal to pass through. Therefore, the noise component outputted by the amplifier a, which is not related to fluorescence detection, is hindered by the limiter circuit L and is not able to reach an adder circuit. Meanwhile, if the amplified signal outputted by the amplifier a is larger than the limit level, the limiter circuit L allows said amplified signal to pass through, and thus a signal related to fluorescence detection which has been outputted by the amplifier a is reliably inputted in a fluorescence generation time calculation unit 11. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a radiation detector that is able to more accurately calculate a fluorescence generation time.
