Title:
RADIATION DOSIMETER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/125944
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention compensates for changes in sensitivity to the energy of radiation and detects the dose of the radiation. A scintillator (12) emits light by incident ionizing radiation. A photoelectric converter (20) converts light that is output from the scintillator (12) into an electric current. A comparison unit (24) compares the intensity of output from the photoelectric converter (20) with two or more threshold values, and a counter (28) counts the numbers of events in which the intensity is greater than or equal to the two or more threshold values, respectively, to obtain two or more count values. A calculation unit (30) detects the dose of the ionizing radiation according to a count value after weighted addition, the count value being obtained by weighted-adding the obtained two or more count values.
