Abstract:
Provided is a highly effective radiation exposure treatment agent. This radiation exposure treatment agent contains a thrombopoietin receptor agonist for removing antibodies, and regenerates organs damaged by radiation exposure. Romiplostim is used as the thrombopoietin receptor agonist. The romiplostim is administered at an amount, at each administration, 5-50 times greater than that for treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenic purpura. Specifically, romiplostim is administered after exposure at an amount of 10-100 μg/kg per administration, once a day for three or more days.
