Abstract:
A radiation imaging device including a plurality of pixels for detecting radiation with a first sensitivity and a second sensitivity lower than the first sensitivity, wherein, in response to the start of application of radiation to the radiation imaging device, each of the plurality of pixels starts an operation for storing a signal corresponding to the applied radiation with the first sensitivity, after a lapse of a first time shorter than a period during which the radiation is applied from the start of the operation for storing the signal, samples the stored signal as a first signal, performs switching to the second sensitivity, stores a signal corresponding to the applied radiation, samples the stored signal as a second signal in response to the end of the application of the radiation to the radiation imaging device, and outputs the first signal and the second signal in order to generate a radiation image based on the first signal and the second signal.
