Abstract:
A radiation monitoring device 1 is provided with: a radiation-emitting unit 10 for generating light of an intensity that is dependent on an incident radiation dosage; an optical fiber 20 for transmitting photons generated by the radiation-emitting unit 10; a photoelectric converter 30 for converting the photons transmitted by the optical fiber 20 into an electrical signal; a signal counting device 40 for counting electrical signals converted by the photoelectric converter 30, one by one in a specific dead time adjusted with respect to an irradiation pulse time width; a dosage computation device 50 for computing a dosage from the signal count value counted by the signal counting device 40; and a display device 60 for displaying a measurement result calculated by the dosage computation device 50.
