A cap for a radiator for cooling an engine, capable of achieving reliable sealing ability even in a half-locked state where the cap is a little loose. A maximum diameter of a pressure valve (7) is equal to or less than that of a retainer (5), and the pressure valve (7) is vertically movable supported in the retainer (5). Between the retainer (5) and a plate spring (4) is provided a filler neck seal body (9), and a circular tube-like portion (9b) with a letter T-shaped cross section is projected from the lower surface side of the filler neck seal body (9). The tube-like portion (9b) and the inner surface of a filler neck (2) are brought into contact with each other in a pressing manner, and at the same time, an upper end surface (21) of the filler neck (2) and a flange portion (9a) of the filler neck seal body (9) are brought into contact with each other in a pressing manner.
