Abstract:
A radio base station apparatus comprises: a receiving unit (101) that estimates, based on a signal received from each of a plurality of mobile stations, a delay spread for that each mobile station; a scheduling unit (102) that decides, based on the delay spread estimated by the receiving unit, the length of a guard interval for that each mobile station and then calculates, from the decided guard interval length and the data symbol having a predetermined length, the number of symbols, which is the number of data symbols that can be inserted into one frame, for that each mobile station; and a guard interval adding unit (107) that adds the guard interval, the length of which has been decided by the scheduling unit for that each mobile station, to the front of the data symbols addressed to that each mobile station, thereby generating, for that each mobile station, the frame including the data symbols the number of which has been calculated by the scheduling unit for that each mobile station.
