Abstract:
In the present invention, UE capability information indicating compatibility of UE 50 with a CE mode is not held in a 3G system but is held in an LTE system. An eNB 100B controls transition of the UE 50 from the 3G system to the LTE system. During transition of the UE 50 to the LTE system, the eNB 100B transmits, to the UE 50, UE capability enquiry for inquiring UE capability information relating to the UE 50 and acquires, from the UE 50, UE capability information including information on whether or not the UE 50 is compatible with the CE mode.
