Abstract:
A radio communication device eliminates a phase noise from a carrier phase signal detected from a received base band signal, and reproduces the carrier signal. Here, with respect to the base band signal which was initially received, the phase noise is eliminated from the carrier phase signal by applying a filter property of a default value. A transmission side phase noise property is extracted from a ratio frame demodulated from the carrier signal, and added to a predetermined receiving side phase noise property so as to calculate a total phase noise property. The total phase noise property and the threshold value are compared to select an optimum filter property. With respect to a subsequent base band signal, the selected filter property is applied to eliminate a noise component from the carrier phase signal.
