Abstract:
A delivery data transmission device (100A) is mounted on a train and transmits delivery data. When the distance between the delivery data transmission device (100A) and the next arrival station at which the train arrives next becomes equal to or less than a threshold value, a redundancy level determination unit (115A) determines, on the basis of a congestion level of radio communication channels in the area around the next arrival station, a redundancy level of an erasure-correction code to be applied to the delivery data. An encoding unit (116B) subjects the delivery data to erasure-correction encoding at an encoding rate corresponding to the redundancy level determined by the redundancy level determination unit (115A).
