Title:
RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/082244
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a radio communication device with which failures attributable to a signal being transmitted and received repeatedly a plurality of times are avoided, and which communicates appropriately with a radio base station. A radio communication device 100 in which transmission and reception are carried out repeatedly in accordance with the reception power level of a radio signal transmitted from a radio base station 200, wherein the radio communication device 100 is provided with: a receiving unit 110 which receives a physical downlink control channel transmitted repeatedly a plurality of times; a combining unit 131 which combines the physical downlink control channel that has been transmitted a plurality of times; and a discontinuous reception control unit 140 which detects, from the combined physical downlink control channel, whether it is necessary to activate a timer for managing an active state in discontinuous reception control, and if it is detected that activation of the timer is unnecessary then the discontinuous reception control unit does not activate the timer, stops the timer if the timer has already been activated, and transitions to an inactive state.
