Abstract:
When transmitting a downlink burst from a base station (1) to a mobile station
(2) by using a communication frame structure in which a MAP region used for allocating
a MAP and a data region used for allocating data, the base station (1) generates
a MAP having information indicating the number of frequencies for controlling
a modulation class and information indicating the frequency region, in a map
generation unit (15). The generated MAP is transmitted from a radio communication
unit (18) of the base station (1) to a radio communication unit (27) of the mobile
station (2). This extends IE (information element) of the MAP and optimizes
the allocation information for AMC (Advanced Modulation and Coding).
