Abstract:

Provided is a radio communication system including: a plurality of base stations which can be switched to a first communication type or a second communication type and performs a radio communication with a terminal by using the switched communication type; and a control device for managing the base stations. The control device includes: an acquisition unit which acquires a throughput of each of the base stations and information relating to an RSSI of the terminal which is radio-communicating with the base station; and a switching instruction unit which instructs each of the base stations to perform switching from the current communication type if a throughput is lowered in one of the base stations during a predetermined period and instructs the base station having the identical throughput before and after the communication type switching but not satisfying a specific standard based on the RSSI after the communication type switching, to again switch to the previous communication type, i.e., the type set before the switching.
