Abstract:

A radio communication device constituting an ad hoc network without arranging a control station sets a region which it can use with a higher priority and performs isochronous communication within the region as is necessary. When no isochronous communication is performed in the priority use region or after an isochronous communication is terminated, the other communication device performs an arbitrary communication. When other communication is performed within the priority use region of the local device, start of an isochronous communication is temporarily delayed. Under the ad hoc communication environment, it is possible to effectively transmit real time data such as an AV content by isochronous communication.
