Abstract:
A radio communication system base station emits a radio wave of the same frequency
by time division toward a plurality of corresponding particular areas from a
plurality of antenna elements by using a plurality of beam antennas, so as to form
a plurality of spot beams. A terminal existing in one of the particular areas
receives report information and selects an optimal beacon channels. The terminal
uses a request channel corresponding to the information identifying the antenna
channel contained in the report information and transmits a communication establishment
request and a band request. Upon reception of the communication establishment
request and the band request, the base station schedules a channel allocation
time including a downlink and an uplink data band if a channel is to be allocated
for the request terminal.
