Abstract:
This relay device is provided with a reception unit, a received waveform recording unit, an antenna number determination unit, and a transmission unit. The reception unit receives a first signal of radio transmitted from a first communication device using a plurality of reception antennas. The received waveform recording unit generates waveform data of the first signal received by each reception antenna. The antenna number determination unit determines the number of reception antennas according to a relay device position on the basis of information on communication quality between the first communication device and the relay device at the relay device position. The transmission unit transmits a second signal representing the waveform data of the first signal received by each reception antenna of the number determined by the antenna number determination unit according to the relay device position. The second communication device performs reception processing of the second signal received from the relay device to acquire the waveform data and performs reception processing of the first signal represented by the acquired waveform data to acquire data.
