Abstract:
A power calculator (19) calculates an input signal power according to components of input reception signals (I, Q). A comparator (20) asserts a non-modulation signal detection signal when a power calculated by the power calculator exceeds a preset threshold. A maximum value detector (41) detects a maximum power of input reception signals according to the assertion of the non-modulation signal detection signal and generates non-modulation signal position instruction information along with a maximum value detection signal; and frequency error calculators (42; 42, 50, 60, 70) calculate a carrier frequency error based on a reception signal corresponding to this maximum power. Since a non-modulation signal only is used to calculate a frequency error, an accurate frequency error can be calculated and an accurate non-modulation signal position can be detected.
