Abstract:
A radio communication system in which the function of a radio device can be altered without manual operation at the place where the radio device is present. A radio device has means for automatically downloading, developing, and executing software, means for finding software lacking for the development and execution, and means for transmitting a request for downloading software lacking. The radio device further has storage means for storing therein software, error correcting means, and means for transmitting a request for re-downloading when an error is detected in software stored in the storage means.
