Abstract:
A radio frequency coaxial connector comprises a male connector and a female connector which can be inserted into the male connector. A recess (7) is provided on the housing (1) of the female connector. A through slot (18) is provided on the housing (16) of the male connector. A spring piece (10) is mounted in the through slot (18) so as to cooperate with the recess (7) by locking when the female connector is inserted into the male connector. A sliding block (9) is provided between the housing (16) and the pressing sleeve (8) and can slide on the axial direction. When the disconnection of the connectors is desirable, the sliding block (9) contacts with the spring piece (10) to release the locking cooperation between the spring piece (10) and the recess (7). The spring piece (10) is locked into the recess (7) to achieve self-locking when the female connector is inserted into the male connector. When unlocking is desirable, the pressing sleeve (8) is pushed so as to force the sliding block (9). The inclined planes of the sliding block (9) force and open the spring piece (10), so the female connector can be pulled out from the male connector.
