Abstract:
This radio terminal receives an MBMS service provided using SC-PTM transmission. The radio terminal is provided with a control unit which, while the radio terminal is in RRC idle mode, performs a cell re-selection operation for selecting a cell to be used as a serving cell of the radio terminal. In the cell re-selection operation, the control unit selects, as the serving cell, that cell of the multiple cells that has the highest ranking, determined on the basis of radio quality and offset. If a prescribed condition relating to the aforementioned SC-PTM transmission has been satisfied, the control unit sets an infinitely large offset as the offset applied in a prescribed cell.
