Abstract:
Provided are: a radio wave absorber which does not have a metal layer and in which the transmission attenuation amount and the reflection attenuation amount are both 10 dB or more in the millimeter wave band; and a compound. Provided are: the radio wave absorber which has a radio wave absorption layer that contains a magnetic powder and a binder and which does not have a metal layer, wherein the packing ratio of the magnetic powder in the radio wave absorption layer is 35 vol% or less, and the relationship 0.65 ≤ (P/100) × Q is satisfied, with P (vol%) denoting the packing ratio of the magnetic powder in the radio wave absorption layer and Q (mm) denoting the thickness of the radio wave absorption layer; and the compound.
