Abstract:

A radio-wave-map providing device according to the present invention is provided with: a radio-wave-map storage unit (101) that stores radio-wave maps having items of reference-position information indicating reference positions and items of reference-communication-quality information indicating communication qualities at the reference positions; a receiving unit (102) that receives a radio-wave-map request including moving-segment information indicating a planned moving segment of a mobile object and requested-communication-quality information indicating a requested communication quality; a radio-wave-map-reply generating unit (106) that compares, of the items of reference-communication-quality information at the reference positions included in the planned moving segment, the amounts of information of the items of reference-communication-quality information greater than or equal to the requested-communication-quality information with the amounts of information of the items of reference-communication-quality information less than or equal to the requested-communication-quality information, and that generates a radio-wave-map reply on the basis of provided reference-communication-quality information, which is the items of reference-communication-quality information having less amounts of information, as well as provided reference-position information, which is the items of reference-position information corresponding to the items of reference-communication-quality information; and a transmitting unit (103) that transmits the radio-wave-map reply.
