Title:
RADIOACTIVE ISOTOPE-LABELED, PHOTO-CROSSLINKABLE HYDROGEL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/159080
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a photo-crosslinkable hydrogel and a preparation method therefor. The hydrogel may comprise a radioactive isotope-labeled photo-crosslinkable compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and can be used as a radiotherapeutic composition, a radio diagnostic imaging composition, and an anticancer therapeutic composition. The hydrogel is highly localized and stays in a site requiring radiotherapy, and as such can treat diseases such as cancer and the like, with minimal damage to surrounding tissues. In addition, the hydrogel can be used as a pharmaceutical composition for treatment of cancer in combination with an anticancer agent and thus can effectively treat cancer. The hydrogel according to the present invention can be fabricated with a portable microfluidic system, immediately, rapidly, and conveniently on site, whereby a maximal radiotherapeutic effect can be achieved.
