Abstract:
In the present invention, in phase imaging by means of radiation such as X-rays, scattered rays are effectively eliminated or reduced using a scattering elimination grating wherein radiation shielding sections are arrayed one-dimensionally, increasing image quality of the obtained radiation phase-contrast image. A radiography system (10) is provided with: a radiograph detection device (12); a radiation source (11); and a computation unit that generates a phase-contrast image of a subject from a plurality of radiographs obtained by the radiograph detection device. The radiograph detection device (12) is provided with: a first grating (31); a grating pattern (32) which has a cycle essentially matching the pattern cycle of a radiograph formed by radiation that has passed through the first grating (31) and which is disposed at a plurality of relative positions that have a different phase from each other with respect to the radiograph; a radiograph detector (30) that detects a radiograph that has been masked by the grating pattern; and a scattering elimination grating (34) that has a plurality of radiation shielding sections (34a) extending in a predetermined direction and arrayed with gaps therebetween and that eliminates scattered rays that enter the radiograph detector. The angle formed by the arraying direction of the plurality of radiation shielding sections of the scattering elimination grating and the direction of pitch of the grating pattern is at least 0° and less than 90°.
