Abstract:
A radiographic image detector and a radiographic imaging system that are capable of, while maintaining the freedom of system structure, safely taking a radiographic image even of a patient who wears a medical device such as a pacemaker. A radiographic image detector has a flat surface detection section (13) for detecting an irradiated radiation to obtain radiation image data, a communication section (17) for transmitting the radiographic image data to an external device, and a storage means installation section (11) capable of holding a removable memory (6) for storing radiographic image data and causing the installed removable memory (6) tostore radiographic image data. The radiographic image detector further has a control section (12) for selecting whether to transmit radiographic image data from the communication section (17) or from the removable memory (6). Based on the result of the selection, the control section (12) switches methods of sending the radiographic data to the external device.
