Abstract:
Disclosed is a radiographic imaging device wherein the device itself is capable of detecting the start of radiation exposure or the like to minimize wasteful power consumption. Specifically disclosed is a radiographic imaging device (1) which comprises: a plurality of radiation detecting elements (7) that are two-dimensionally arranged; switch means (8) that are arranged for each of the radiation detecting elements (7) so as to be able to switch between an off-state and an on-state; a current detecting means (41) for detecting current flowing through the device, said current associated with the radiation exposure; a sub control means (23) for detecting the start and/or end of the radiation exposure on the basis of the value of the detected current; and a main control means (22) for performing the readout processing of the image data from the radiation detecting elements (7), wherein the power consumption of the sub control means (23) is less than the power consumption of the main control means (22), and, when the start and/or end of the radiation exposure is detected on the basis of the value of the current detected by the current detecting means (41), the main control means (22) is activated, and the activation of the sub control means (23) is stopped.

Claims:
