Abstract:
A radome for vehicles, comprising an internal base layer (1) formed of a radio transmissive resin, an intermediate decorative layer (2), and an external transparent resin layer (3), characterized in that the radome also comprises a camera (4) placed inside the radome or aligned with the external surface of the transparent resin layer (3). The invention gives car designers more freedom, by offering an integrated solution that is aesthetically pleasing, as well as reducing part manufacturing complexity.
